This subreddit is not endorsed or sponsored by Apple Inc. I've used AntiVirus (for 'testing' or 'experimentation' purposes) on different occasions throughout the past 10 years or so. Largely because I work in IT. And I get requests to 'see if this will work' sort of thing.
Largely what usually happens. Is I try using it for a few months (3 to 6months,etc).
And it ends up being such a nightmare of kludgy bullshit. That I end up uninstalling it. I normally just recommend things like: 1.) Keep all your shit up to date.
(OS, Browsers, Plugins, most used Applications, etc,etc) 2.) Make sure you have Backups. 3.) Don't click on stupid shit. 4.) Don't click on stupid shit.
